tree railing

I really like this unique stair railing (not so keen on the vase next to it but you can't have everything), made by a company called Imagination in Metals. I live in an apartment, so I don't actually have any stairs to call my own. Heck, the apartment isn't even mine, we rent...but railings like this make me want stairs.

book cave

This idea appeals very much to me - Sakura Adachi has made a private reading space within a shelf system, keeping an intimate connection between the book and the reader.

upside down

Wow- someone has built an upside down house! It is in Trassenheide, Germany, and was built to allow people to view everyday life in an alternative way (yes, even the bathroom!).

staring at stairs

Oooh...I do like this staircase. Would it be legal to install something like this in the UK? It looks like the sort of thing I would seriously injure myself on, yet I think I'd risk it just because it looks so amazing.
